  1. I think if there were a trade, it will not happened before JP arbitration on July 27th, they would then know his dollar amount. It might be JP + prospects + picks and chicago retain salary, something like that and Oilers also need to trade even both Barrie and Foegele

  2. What can the Oilers give up to get him? If Kane winds up in Edmonton that will be a scary lineup. 3 100+ point scorers on the same team?

  3. Buffalo has said that they don’t want to give up all the assets for him. and they’ll be open to signing him next year which is perfect, everyone will have grown, have a great chance at having the Calder trophy winner in Quinn or peterka next season we’re getting closer to the playoffs and kane might put us over the edge. the fans in buffalo already love him, his family buys an entire section in the 100 section

  4. Oilers offense would be absolutely sick If they can get Kane. They really should push next year

  5. I think it’s just to high priced to take him for the Oilers actually I could see him going to Calgary

  6. These betting sites are terrible.More lives have been ruined from gambling addiction then I care to remember. There’s a reason gambling anonymous is offered as part mental health services. The NHL sold out to these companies all in the name of more revenue.👎

  7. Right.. Which team wants to give up (2) first round picks, a top prospect, NHL ready prospect, a "project" prospect & a cap dump for Kane at 50% retained (5M)?? … Look when Kane is moved it probably going to be a 3 or even 4-way deal – think Matt Duchene.

The Hawks are certainly tanking for Bedard and/or Michkov – If I were Kyle Davidson I would do whatever it takes to get both the 1st and 2nd overall picks to guarantee I get both – because those are 2 guys you can build a contender around – much like the Hawks built their dynasty around Toews and Kane – well you can do the same here with Bedard and Michkov and be back in contention within 3-5 years…

So yea, as a lifelong Hawks fan if the Hawks can land both Bedard and Michkov I'd be thrilled – but it's crucial the Hawks get at least one of them to make this "tank" worth it…

Honestly I'm shocked the Hawks didn't try to land Shane Wright – especially since the Hawks were in talk with Montreal, and even moreso since he slipped – I did not understand that, smh..

Anyway, the price tag on Kane is significant – he will arguably be the best UFA rental in NHL history – certainly one of the best, so Davidson better get every asset he can out of a Kane trade – and like I said – the best way to do that is to get a couple of teams involved if not 3 teams in a 4-way deal…

  8. When it comes to the DeBrincat trade to Ottawa – most don't know that DeBrincat's qualifying offer next summer will be 9 million – yes 9 million – so the Hawks weren't going to qualify him since they're rebuilding. Sure, DeBrincat is still young but it wouldn't make sense to build around him at 9 million – not only that but waste a decent chunk of his prime doing it…. So yeah, the return on DeBrincat was indeed underwhelming but there were certainly a few factors that really limited DeBrincat's value – like a 9 million dollar qualifying offer, lol… I will say tho – Davidson should have moved DeBrincat at the Trade Deadline – IMO he would have gotten a bit more than he did at the draft – so his timing was a little off, lol….

  9. Flames should pick up Kane. We need Kane or Kadri to be better then we were last year.
