You know….as a Habs fan, I normally have a lot to say about Toronto…..but I mean yeah Toronto's signings haven't been great, but Montreal was the worst team last year and so far in Free Agency, we have only signed the 2 first round picks to ELC's? Yes ok we got Dadanov, but is he going to be the one to take Montreal back to the playoffs?
Benn is a good bottom pairing guy…Mete is kinda useless, your joke is what he is. He looks like a OFD but also sucks offensively. Victor seems like a good guy but as far as a player I don't see anything there

Mete should go to the AHL for a season. He needs it. He could probably score 40 points if he learned to shoot. Watching him in Montreal, you could see he had something there, but was also one move away from finishing anything.

Dubas really has to start bringing in real defensemen at some point. Mete has been on waivers since before Jesus Christ was born.
I believe it's time for Dubas to change professions; from GM to social worker. You know those sweet types who bring ex cons into their homes because they believe they can make them into productive people…you know…people such as…Thornton, Ritchie, Malgin, Murray, Mete, Sampsonov…hmmm…there were reasons criminals are criminals…there are reasons why 99% of hockey teams reject certain players!
Glad to see you're finally letting your passion relax a little. Nothing wrong with cheering for a team, but if you put your full heart and feelings on the line for said team (especially the Leafs)…. you're asking g for unnecessary heartache.

Mete , DUBAS went out and hired a TIMBIT . Benn I dont think is a bad move at this time , He is a bigger guy and the Leafs are a really small and weak team . How did we go from the days of having WENDEL CLARK and TIE DOMI , Where everyone in the NHL knew if you put a hand on Doug Gilmour or SUNDIN you were done and it was not going to happen again to everyone coming in and treating Matthews like a rag doll . Marner and Mattews need protection , Why is it so hard for DUBAS to understand this .
If you think about it, name a single Toronto goalie within the last 10-15 years that wasn't the best goalie, wasn't doing anything in the system and then became a top player? Matter of fact, any of their players?

Usually, teams sit a goalie at one end of the bench and Benn sits on the other end. That keeps the bench from flipping over when someone stands up. I see no other use for Benn. 😂
This is Dubas's idea of a good hockey club…pay 3 guys all the money…plug in the rest with a mixed bag of nuts every year at league minimum and hope for the best…and sign as many 5 foot tall defense men you can find…lol
Hopefully Dubas will be fired soon…then the Leafs will be one step closer to winning a cup.
