Really excited about the amerks and the talent there.
I'd say Rossi was mainly penalized for his (lack of) size in the draft. But Quinn's definitely doing well.

Gotta say I didn’t expect Quinn to look this comfortable as a pro this quickly. I was critical of Buffalo for passing on Rossi but maybe they’ll prove me wrong with this pick. Cozens, Thompson, Olofsson, Tuch, Krebs, Quinn, and Peterka have begun to make up a tantalizing young and promising forward group for the Sabres
In person Quinn is amazing! He is a great passer, shooter and he plays PK and back checks hard. Him and JJ Peterka have amazing chemistry on the ice.

I agree with Jacks comparison of himself to TJ Oshie both seen as a little undersized, but are tenacious on the forecheck and aren’t afraid to throw a check. Also both have great goal scoring ability and kill it in the shootout

The future looks bright in Buffalo. Quinn, Peterka, Krebs, and Power. Along with what Levi is doing in college and how Tage Thompson and Dylan Cozens are playing. This could be a very dangerous team in a few years.

People are killer this dude for assuming he and Rossi were on the same line. They both were on the #1 pp, and we're paired up in most 3rd periods when trailing they played over 7 minutes a game together. There was a lot of pre-draft talk from the media saying Quinn may be a product of Rossi so his comment isn't necessary wrong.
The Sabres are loaded with young talent on their roster but more so in the AHL, NCAA, and in Europe. If these guys live up to their potential and they hit on their massive draft capital fans are going to forget about this long playoff drought much sooner than later.

I live in Rochester and always go to amerks games. Quinn and Peterka are going to be great in the NHL. Quinn may be in the AHL at least another year. He has to get stronger, without pads the kid is as skinny as a toothpick. As long as the sabres are patient with him and their young talent, a very bright future is ahead for the Sabres. Out of Krebs, Quinn, and Peterka, my guess is Krebs will probably be a full time NHL'er next year since he's got the most experience, Peterka may be a 50% NHL'er mainly due to him being ready size-wise, and skill wise, Quinn may be up and down between ROC and Buffalo, mainly due to his size, and some more development of his skills.
Can he be one of the best ones from that draft?
The only dispute I can make… I think right now.. Levi might be the best prospect in the system.. then Power and Quinn which I'd only give Quinn the edge.. because he's actually in the system where Power is still playing NCAA… But it sure make the Sabres future look bright!
