Wow, your pretty high on Chychrun to give up so much for him. Giving up draft picks is going to hurt the Oilers sooner than later. So if you’re asking, then I’d pass on any of theses proposals👎🏽
Last year I was I favor of JC being traded to the Oilers. This year not so much. I like Kulak as a fit. Better shutdown play, less injuries. Either way cash would have to go out. Options are two or three forwards. Or Barrie on the backend and then weakening the Right side. Or Nurse and loosing the all situations minute muncher.
Currently as it is I would hold. Even if it would be an opportunity to get out from Nurse' contract.
I guess all of this leads to one question. Do they want to compete for the cup? Time is not something that the Edmonton Oilers have a lot of at this point. If bringing Chychrun in would give them a better shot than the other options available, I say do it so long as the cost is reasonable.
The Oilers don't need another offensive dman. He's okay defensively. If the Oilers are going to go on a legit cup run, they'll need a defensive dman.
Bringing Chychrun in would not make the Oilers better. His numbers are not impressive even for a bottom feeder. Basically you're paying with picks and/or prospects to AZ in order to get rid of the Barrie or Foegle contracts.
Not to sound rude and I truly mean it. But OF COURSE a player of Chychrun's calibre would help any team. 😁😁😁 and people down on state have not really watched this guy play. He has good deal of talent on a AHL mainly roster

Talks seem to be intensifying and Edmonton remains one of the teams in the mix. Apparently Arizona is open to taking cap dumps to make the trade work. I hope we see a move that gets JC into the Oilers blue and orange. If it goes down I think Foegele is a cap dump and the roster player is Puljujarvi. Add the last 1st and a top prospect and have Arizona include an affordable bottom 6 forward (Boyd).
