Habs fan hear… I have heard for a while now issues within the Jets locker room… going back to Buffy and Kane, and then hearing Scheifle and Wheeler were toxic and drove people out and now Dubois while the Scheifle bad for the locker room still lingers. I actually like the Jets… Ehler and Conner are great players! I hope its Dvorak, Drouin and Hoffman for Dubois lol
I'm only hoping Cheveldumbass doesn't trade PLD for Dvorak/Anderson. Also I wonder if Dubois' father will be okay with him being a shithead on the ice for the organization he works for…would be weird.
I would not trade PLD. When the time suits the Jets than they can make a trade. If Montreal thinks they can get him cheap forget it.

Getting Martin St-Louis allows Montreal to be a desirable place to play, again. It's about time that elite players consider the Habs, after a 25 years drought. As for PLD, are we actually blaming him for wanting to choose his place of work? The Jets organization had enough time to put something in place to convince him to, again choose them over other teams, but they failed to do so.

PLD completely screwed the Jets by telling the league he's not going to resign and then naming the team he wants to play on. That should be considered tampering or breach of contract, and the Jets should recoup some compensation. The league should take action to prevent players from doing this crap. The Jets have zero leverage now. Unless Montreal gives up high draft picks or equal players, the Jets should hold PLD until the trade deadline, and he should have to sing for his supper and play at a level that deserves a trade. Montreal can have PLD, but they have to take Scheifele in the deal, hahaha. Wouldn't that be hilarious?

Montreal won't trade Suzuki. Dvorak and Anderson aren't good enough to equal Dubois' value… Montreal won't add in a sweetener like their first round pick Slafkovsky… and even next year's first round pick wouldn't even work out since they only have $1.2 million in cap space and Dubois's salary would put them over that cap… so realistically, a trade this year… unless Montreal gives away 4 players for 1 player… it won't happen! And even if Montreal gives away 4 players for Dubois… how good are they really? even Dvorak and Anderson only put up half the points Dubois does… is that really worth it? From a GM's perspective… HELL NO! Dubois will most likely still be a Winnipeg Jet next year… and the emotional Jets fans are going to make him give zero effort! Hating on Sheifele, Wheeler and Dubois… 3 of our 4 best players isn't a recipe for a successful team! Montreal fans hated on Patrick Roy and he left… one of the, if not best goalies EVER! left because of fan backlash… fans need to stop spreading hate! if you want a Stanley cup… turning over 4 of the top 6 players is a rebuild! rebuilding never win the cup!!
Unbeleivable! I thought Dubois was happy here. Like you say Mom amd Dad live here, but the way he has gone about it is very discouraging. Feeling like next year is a bust already. But, as a good little Jets fan , i will try and be positive. Thanks for your straight to the point commentary.

There’s no way an arbiter gives Appleton more than 1.5 million a year however if he only takes the one year term I’ll be disappointed, I’d like to know that we get to keep him for a couple more years
I don't think Montreal will take him. They are up against the cap and they still have to sign Kirby Dach. They can't afford him.
As a habs fan I don’t even want this guy on the team our habs are in tanking territory as it is plus we are gunna have some much young talent coming up this year PLD is just gunna be bad player to add in our mix right now wish there was a way you guys could get rid of him without us taking him 😂😂

Let him sit for at least 1 year, ride the bench or have bare minimum 4th lines minutes – force him to play defence… something horribly insulting… give his treatment totally back to him, I’m dead serious. If he plays hard, he still barely plays. I support the Jets org letting this guy rot & dry up this season.
i'm a habs fan and usually it is exciting when a budding star actually want to come to montreal. unfortunately, the way he is going about it is horrible. he handcuffed his GM, ruined the chemistry with his teammates, and pissed off his fans. this is not a character that is usually welcome to montreal with open arms. the last player with that much attitude that played in monteal ended up letting in a shit ton of goals one night against detroit, and then walked into the stands and quit in front of the GM. yes, patrick Roy won 2 cups, but the way he left was excruciatingly painfull. dont need that type of character when you r trying to build a winning team. GO HABS GO JETS.

Hey Jake, I used to be PLD is Elite and now I changed it to Lambert is Exceptional. I fell for PLD’S tricks in giving me hope that he’d stay long term and clearly I was wrong. Anyways, I wanted my name to be a Jets players name and a word similar to Elite and I thought this name was very fitting. I have hope in Brad Lambert and strongly believe he will turn things around. I also thought about Exceptional Status even though he played in Finland because let’s face it, if he played in Canada he would’ve gotten exceptional status! PLD disappointed me immensely and I felt the need to change my name.

Montreal isn’t taking this guy you look at kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton these guys want character guys and Dubois isn’t that and if Montreal does take him I’ll be shocked because I don’t want em we are better off without him especially if we end up with a top 3 pick in the next draft and we get Adam Fantilli or another top tier center that player will be better then Dubois as a habs fan I’m praying that guy doesn’t come to our team and we better not give up Dach for him or anything for that matter because I honestly think Dubois thinks he’s gonna come to Montreal and we’re gonna start winning and that’s not gonna happen we are rebuilding and adding him won’t help our rebuild it will hurt it and I agree he’s gonna want out and it’s gonna fuck us over so we better not get him he can stay a Winnipeg problem or a problem somewhere else as long as it doesn’t touch Montreal definitely not something we need

Every fan that called them babies and cancer was acting like a baby and a cancerous fan! statistics matter more than drama (if you want to win a cup). Making trades because of "feelings" is the worst way to run a team. You are still better GM than Chevy, but everyone makes mistakes. Here's hoping they put up the same numbers (or better) this year, despite all the negative criticism surrounding them!
