  1. Thoughts on trading Kerfoot, Holl, and a pick to Vancouver for JT Miller to play 2nd line with Johny T and Willy, salary offset rhen and trade Muzzin and pay o Sandin and Engvall?

  2. It's nice to see a fat kid who didn't play hockey above house league analyzing pro hockey because he looks at numbers. I LOVE it!!!!!

  3. I think Gaudette could be a winger for Tavares this season… much like Bunting last year, a player who can get in the corners and get the puck to JT and Nylander

  4. I'm fine with Holl being traded for cap space. Kerfoot has been an incredibly versatile player for us. His combination of offense and defense will be missed.

  5. I truly believe trading Sandin is a mistake that will come back to haunt the Leafs

  6. If he really wants to fix his mistakes Dubas should explore trading Tavares and preparing for Matthews' extension. Don't leave this til the last minute. I don't see Sandin as a difference maker so whatever…

  7. trade kerfoot while his value is high, tired of losing guys for nothing, he is only owed 750k cash and 3.5m aav, time is now too move him cause next season he will command 5m which Leafs cant afford, and holl has to go even for a bag of pucks i dont care move him already. guys i like still available is Paul Stastny and maybee Kessel at 1m

  8. point on Kerfot not sure if it was mentioned. Kerfoot 3.5M against the cap but onl 750K in real $ for the year

  9. I always thought Sandin was better than Lilligren, they should have signed him first maybe

  10. Am I the only one who wonders whether Muzzin can play on the right side of Sandin? I know hasn’t played the right for significant time before, but why not see if it works?

    Also, as far as I remember, the Muzzin-Sandin pair played well in the couple games they spent together last year. If Sandin is THAT set on playing the left, you’re just switching that pair.

  11. Trade Holl and let engvall walk, spend that money on NHL players who can make an impact, I'm so over holl playing on this team

  12. Muzzin is gone …. free that space for nino neterriter and sonny milano … and the cheaper player from the trade

    Kerfoot gone is written in the cards.. probably for picks and prospects

  13. 31, 4 years at that money? NO thanks….to long, to much money….do not like this move at all….maybe 2 years but not 4…oh well…we will see….;

  14. I am very much wondering if teams will be looking at a possible Offer sheet for Rasmus Sandin.
    Sandin obviously wants to play. in Toronto he’s going to be stuck behind 3 solid NHL defencmen.
    Why would it not make sense for a team to pull a Kotkaniemei move.
    If a team signs Sandin to a 1 year 4M contract there’s no way the leafs can match that without trading a guy like Muzzin. The compensation going back to the leafs would only be a 2nd round pick. Sandin for a second round pick IMO would be a very solid price to pay for him. And then the team has one year to decide what he is really worth and could sign him to that. Unless he’s still an RFA and they would have to qualify him higher then the 4M

  15. Trading a young Sandin because you have a couple of mid to upper 30 yr old veteran defensemen would be a stupid move. When Giordano and Muzzin retire you're going to have to watch Sandin getting 50+ points and being a top 4 blueliner on another team.
