Cole Caufield a créé l’égalité en troisième période, mais Patrik Laine a gelé le match avec 6,5 secondes à faire et les Blue Jackets de Columbus ont défait les Canadiens de Montréal 2-1.
The commentators are nothing short of blind when it comes to Björkstrand's goal. Björkstrand was faking a pass? The goalie was stealing?! What are these guys on about?! The pass to Laine was clearly intercepted by the defender right back to Björkstrand who then ended up shooting and scoring.
Montembeault was outstanding in relief against Washington and today against Columbus. He had a couple of shaky starts after his other outstanding performances but is back on track. Primeau allows 2 or 3 bad goals per game or half game before being pulled. Picking up Hammond or any goalie for the rest of the season was a much-needed move. No need to bring Price back this season or to hurray Allen back. Caufield has been very noticeable the last two games, having been invisible under Ducharme.
The real lost are are the families that can't attend hockey games because of failing Covid policies. Only Nazi's would ban people from attending a hockey game.
I will say this, despite being outshot horribly, Montreal seemed to play with a lot more heart. Caufield is scoring too, and frankly that's all that matters at this point.

I'm fine with the Habs losing games as long as they are competing. Caufield and Suzuki need to get more experience. I'm happy with another solid prospect and hopefully they can fix the defense in free agency.
The reaction of Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton at 7:22 shows just how bad things are for the Habs. Even upper management does not know what to do anymore.
