I hope I am wrong, but I feel that Drouin has become a kind of Yashin for the Habs. These players seem to fall into a weird category, where there appears to be no arc of redemption. If this the end of Drouin with the Habs, so be it, and move on.
Not trying to suck up or anything but I like listening to you two more than Berkshire's show.
Hoffman is much more valuable than Drouin, since Drouin has shown no passion in his play so far this year. It is the end of thr line for him I fear.
6 years of Drouin is enough for me, don’t care if he sits all year. Time to move on👍
Too bad that they can't waive or cut some of these guys, because they have virtually no trade value right now and won't get better and it will get worse. I would play the young guys who would come into those spots.
Absolutely this is a development year and I will focus on how players are developing and celebrate any success they have.I think they will exceed last year but more importantly, will they make games interesting to watch.
Great show… as usual. Question of the day?? After buying into the Rebuild. As fans we see 2023 as write off development. What do we see for 2024??
PS=—- Hey guys if you are not subscribed…. Hit the Like and Subscribe. We can't let Locked On Leafs beat us on SUBS!!!! GO HABS GO!!!!!
Cant wait for the season to start 🙂 I will be rooting for losses, but i hope they will all be close games, and see the young guns have a good season developing and improving. And yes i would love if they brought 24CH. Loved that show.
…they're not a team yet…they need time to gel…
Interesting Quote…. Johnny Kovacevic, placed on waivers by the #NHLJets today, is a 25 yr old 6'4 RHD.
Kovacevic, who was one of the best defencemen in the AHL last season, signed a 3-year deal with WPG this summer.
The Jets are probably holding their breath as he hits the waiver wire. He was passed over by multiple Triple-A squads in Southern Ontario, cut from the Niagara IceDogs in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) twice, and went through two NHL Drafts without hearing his name called. He refused to give up on his dream and decided to play Tier II Junior A hockey in the Central Canada Hockey League with the Ottawa Junior Senators and the Hawkesbury Hawks. It wasn’t long before he was recruited by coaches from Merrimack College, an NCAA Division 1 school. After just one year with the Warriors, he was drafted by the Jets.
Hmmmmm suddenly i am MORE INTERESTED in this guy. ONLY THING MISSING FROM THIS GUYS BIO…..
HE WORKED AT COSTCO….. hahahaha
Love you guys, but does Laura realize how bad a look it would be for a man to constantly comment on how nice it is to look at female players? She'd have lost her job ages ago.
