  1. Was at the game, after the Girard hit: building was electric and buzzing. Biggest quiet moment: when Berube and staff didnt challenge the offside goal, we all saw it on the big screen and cheered and then they lined up and took the faceoff. Utter confusion from everyone. We never got a good replay of Kadri going into Binner so we all kinda thought we'd see him walk out of the tunnel to start the second and third.

  2. I think the issue with the Kadri/Binnington injury and from everything I have read up to this point is so many people forget Rosen was involved in this as well and was first contact with Binnington and he is not a small guy either, the combined weight of Kadri/Rosen for sure did it, also when you watch slow motion Kadri is reaching forward with his stick and this whole incident goes full bat shit when Kadri's left skate picks at the ice and gives out. This play is done many times by many different players, every team crashes the the only difference is Kadri is one of those players with a history of really stupid and boneheaded decisions.

  3. If you watch the angle from above, Kadri had an angle that took him wide of the net until Rosen made contact with him and they BOTH went into Binnington. I don't think it was malicious on Kadri's part. Unfortunately, because of his reputation, he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. I think it was unintentional.

  4. It's always so interesting to hear everyone's various opinions on plays that lead to injured players.
The Blues player intended to injure Girard. Ir was a freight train hit, into the boards, on a player that is prone. But yet no one seems to think so, and they even go on to blame the victim that Girard, somehow, should have not gone behind the net to retrieve and play the puck.
    .
Yet, in the same breathe, they demonize Kadri for reaching for a loose puck 7 feet in front of him, while Binnington is sliding to his left to get back in position for the next play, and as Kadri is reaching for the puck, a Blues player rams into Kadri, and then that Blues player lands on top of Binnington's knee, yet, somehow, Kadri is totally responsible for the Blue's players actions that lead to their goalie being injured, and you all say HE MEANT TO DO IT.
    .
Cognitive dissonance is the term for all of you who see these two plays this way.

  5. Also two games in a row that binner has been ran into, top goalie in the playoffs right now, definitely accidentally on purpose. Blues have done well shutting down the top avs, nothing from mackinnon, rantannen, or makar, landescog hasn't done too much this series yet

  6. OK so couple questions being an avalanche fan gonna put that out there to begin with. You say that Kadri is a dirty player but all season long he’s been trying to do things to erase that mentality. Also he was tied up with a blues defenseman going out to that loose puck you only showed the angle that just shows Kadri you got show the other angle where the defenseman is there with him. Also on the check against Gerard you have no issue with the head but yet any other time an avalanche player has been bigger than the guy he’s checking and checks Them and drives their head into the boards it’s a penalty and people are calling for suspensions and everything else so what is it is it OK to hit a guy from the side/behind and then drive their head into the boards or is it not OK.

  7. Eye for an eye ladies. Thank god Kadri dished it back! Girard is a big part of the Avs so yeah, eat it Blues

  8. Just found out that binnington is out for the rest of the series. Unless Husso can return to his regular season performance, this series isn't looking to good for the blues

  9. Colorado took out the one guy who can beat them in the series. Kadre did it on purpose! See any snow? Nope never tried to stop. But that’s hockey and guys like Kadre get away with it because of rule changes. Instigator + no fighting = Cowards thrive

  10. Kadri plays the Claude Lemieux role on this team. A little bit edgy but sometimes exactly what the Doctor ordered when the Superstars are asleep at the wheel. I don’t think Kadri was deliberately trying to hurt Binnington. If the Blues game plan is to now run at guys it will throw them off their game. Avs can always dress Kurtis MacDermid if things get out of hand with and an enforcer is needed. He is ready and willing.

  11. Now it is certain Binnington is out for the series. You can't take our cup hero and expect us not to retaliate.

  12. What a terrible analysis on the Kadri/Binnington play. Kadri was clearly going for a loose puck and then Rosen knocks him into the goalie. I despise Kadri, but I'm sick of this "no benefit of the doubt" when it's a hard nosed player.

  13. Unfortunate for Girard. If he's a couple more shifts in he likely is in a zone enough to squeeze out one way or the other, against the boards, not taking the full leverage of that hit. He's very good at that, as all the smaller avs are, while at least getting a decent play off on the puck. I assume it was a shoulder for Binn and they want to bring kadri's large part of that more into it. Just a bad result from an obvious hard play that needs to be made by both. They did try and run directly into one another. Kadri is a good boy :p. Big game for the avs. Way more sharp which is huge, not as confident as I want from them, as they should be, seemed to get a boost there from Binn going down, we shouldn't need that. But we can't become the blues callibre mentally overnight, so I'll take a bit of a lucky win and minor improvement there. Excellent work man, crazy solid hockey mind. Jared! Bednar. Couldn't be more in agreement about playing stickless. To me if you don't have a play to make in the next half second, take the three seconds to change or get a stick instead.

  14. Nazem Kadri has the skill set to be a good player. But it's like there's something wrong with him and he has those moments where his brain glitches or short circuits and he does something stupid and/or violent. There were two playoff series (I believe both were against the Bruins) where he got himself suspended and may have cost Toronto because he took himself and his skill set off the ice

  15. Hold up hold up… you said kuemper should have stopped that shot on the face off after it broke a stick on the way in? Then say JASON…. Bednar?

  16. It's not Mackinnons choice to decide on who he faces in the face off… they're out there to match the other lines skill, not their hand.

  17. As a Blues fan. I don't like the Gerard hit, even if it's legal….Blues fans experienced this with Leddy, though this hit was far more devastating.

Kadri doesn't get the benefit of the doubt, he is what he is. His post game comments shed more light on it as he says he was "pushed" when he's the guy in back….whatever.

This game is a gut punch, but the best revenge is to win game 4, get the confidence back and take the series. Keep Kadri's yearly T-Time on track.

    Great video.

  18. Interesting how how the calls and non calls went Colorado’s way…..
Remember the “hand pass” vs Sharks⁉️
This game is going to motivate the Blues

  19. I hope this series goes all 7…
or just as many as it takes for the Blues to win it.

  20. "Everything reverts back to the average" also… "If you take game one out of the equation". Umm, "Everything reverts back to the average."

  21. You do realize Kadri taking out Binner came before Avs first goal, you chain of events are wrong.

  22. That wasn't on purpose, kadri would've avoided binnington if Rosen box him towards binnington
