Thank God you decided to talk about the REAL winter Philadelphia team. The Sixers are underachieving overpaid prima donnas who are ungrateful to their fans. The Flyers fight and scrap every night to get 2 points in one of the toughest and deepest divisions in all of sports. Even when they have terrible games like the Devils game, they find ways to rebound and get back on track. Unlike the Sixers who just mope around, party, or blame external factors after getting their butts kicked. We as a city need to stop feeling so miserable about the Sixers BS and start embracing a Flyers squad that's showing actual heart and competitiveness.
I say we trade Ghost for a young-ish forward like Tyler Toffoli or Kasperi Kapanen (would be poetic since his dad played here and he grew up here).

So proud of this young group, Brodes….they are clicking so much better than last year….great passing, great neutral zone play….great penalty killing….Hart is a stud…they do deserve so much more media attention than the 76ers. I hope we can keep this group together for a while….

Carter Hart was the player of the game against the Panthers, he made so many saves and Florida had so many close chances to score but Hart stopped them, but Nicolas Aube-Kubel has been playing good lately, he is looking like he might be a good part to the Flyers, we scored 4 unanswered goals to take the win, we are beating a lot of good teams, Capitals, Blues, Bruins, and Panthers, a tough team to beat.
Nothing more cringeworthy than listening to fellow Flyers fans mother fucking Bobrovsky up one side and down the other, yet, Paul Holmgren gets promoted and no one says Jack shit. I don't recall Bobrovsky bad mouthing the organization on the way out for trading him, and making him sit behind that fuckin mess Leighton and making us suffer with Bryz. I get it, opposing player on opposing team, but it's embarrassing as a fan to listen to my fellow fans sound SO uninformed and salty just because they're butt hurt the guy went on to be a good goalie, and the Flyers infallible front office frigged it up like they've done hundreds of times before. Fuckin fly right fans.
I want to talk about Giroux too. Let's face it, as much as we all love him, he's streaky. Sometimes, as of late, that's kinda been a good thing as they've pulled off wins in spite of him not blowing up the goal column. But I still feel like if the team is in an offensive slide, he couldn't single handedly pull them out of it. Again, this is a minor gripe with Giroux. I'm tired of listening to this, it's the other things he does, though. Yeah, I understand he's doing well assisting and opening up opportunities for other guys and that's probably the most we can ask for anymore out of him, but let's not also pretend he was so good throughout his career, that he was untouchable just because he's our captain (I do, however, feel like he's settling into that spot where guys want to play and win for him because his time is now becoming limited and players want to see him lift the cup before his career is through. And personally, I think that's a role he can make use of quite well to be honest.) And I hate that I even feel like I gotta talk about Giroux because I want him to get a championship more than any other player on any other philly team right now.
we as a fanbase have gone from the most supportive, die hard, insanely smart fanbase, to sounding ridiculous and whiny and salty, which we're not. STOP crying whenever a penalty is called against the Flyers. Yeah, we get it, fuck all refs, but every fucking call? Jesus it's such a bitch way to be.. to blame refs.. come on.. you can't want to be known as a hard nose, tough, knowledgeable fan base when you cry at every fucking penalty called against the Flyers. Good teams, championship teams, over come that shit.
The Flyers deserve more recognition right now than that shit show that happens when the Sixers take the court. I fuckin love the flyers and the fanbase, but we're slipping, and we gotta stop those dip shit fans from bringing us down and sounding unintelligible, and making us look like cry babies to the rest of the league. We're better than that and smarter than that.
