I really hope fedotov is able to come but it’s just not going to happen.
Ivan Fedotov was held in Russia, forced to join the Russian Navy and will be stationed near the Artic Circle for training. He'll need to serve one year in the military until he'll be able to try and get to the NHL. So that means the Flyers will be in the market to sign a veteran NHL goalie.
James van Riemsdyk will probably be traded (at least most Flyers fans hope, myself included), the latest possible candidate to acquire JvR is the Seattle Kraken (I'll take I bucket of practice pucks for him).
There have been rumours about a possible Chicago/Philly trade involving Debrinkat, in which Fletcher will over spend (again). I wish Fletcher could be fired before the draft, but for some stupid reason the dinosaurs in the Flyers front office have faith in him….I don't, nor do any other Flyers fans, Fletcher is a very unpopular figure in the Philadelphia sports scene.

JVR is tying up a lot of salary cap space & nobody wants that headache. The Russian goalie is at least 2 yrs away. Yardley, Thompson, Cunnatun are aging defensive liabilities so good riddance. Ellis, Couturier, Hayes, & Farabee are injury question marks. Koneckny & Provolov have regressed in their skills, hopefully because the surrounding players with them were so bad. The Flyers have the #5 pick but don't expect it to be of any impact for at least 3 years. It wouldn't surprise me that Fletcher trades it with the few AHL'ers that have shown anything worthwhile to get the overpriced Debrincat, Tarasencko, or Gaudreau. Or keep it to draft the peewee 5ft 6in / 155 lb Matthew Savoie. Can you envision a trio of him, 5ft 8in / 165 lb Bobby Brink, & 5ft 8in / 170 lb Cam Atkinson ? "THE KIDDIE CORP LINE".
