Estimated constitution timeline is 23-24 months, cleanup is estimated at 6-8 months (unsure if that was included in the construction timeline)

Proposal has improved since June and the council appears to support it | in a poll conducted 60% of Tempe residents were in favor of the arena, Tempe Business owners also view it favorably

We own a house in Tempe (fairly close to the proposed site, actually), but we are renting it out. We also own and live in Phoenix. My assumption is that I can’t vote in Tempe, but our tenants can. Is that the case?

Why can it never be easy??? Also, even if it is voted in, it just delays construction by several months which is annoying

1000% chance city of Phoenix launches a massive disinformation mud slinging campaign over this

I guess my thought is, if it was anything else. Say a amazon warehouse or microchip plant. Would the public vote be an option? The land is going to be used for either the coyotes arena now or its going to site empty for a long while.

20 something years i was visiting Scottsdale and the voters just approved a new ice rink in Old Town. City pays half and Coyotes pay half. Then the new owner Ellman was promised a free rink in Glendale and he took it. Even though he knew over half the season ticket holders lived in Scottsdale. He didn’t care about the fans. He only cared about saving some money. Guess what happened? Half the season tickets were cancelled when they moved to Glendale. I guess nobody wanted to drive 40 miles one way three times a week. This rink at least is close to where the Los Arcos rink was gonna go

Well this will be a god damned disaster. A bunch of NIMBYs will probably shoot this down because we can’t ever have anything nice
