Karlsson absolutely carrying this god awful team (although shout out to Meier on the filthy goal).
If not for Silfverburg's gaffe, Anaheim would have gotten their first dub in regulation. But still, you got to take the wins no matter how ugly they look.

I have been one of the biggest anti Karl sharks fans but if he can be a 2 point a game player every game it would not have been anywhere near as bad of a trade/contract. If he got 2 points or more every game Doug Wilson would have looked a lot better.
With that being said it is too bad the sharks are not better overall with karl having such a resurgence.
If I was Mike Grier the Sharks GM I would straight up ask Karl if there is any teams he wants to be traded to. Karl would have to 100% agree to it but it would really help the Sharks to save his cap space for the future and would give him a cup chance.
If there is a time to trade him "if he even agrees" this is it.

It is crazy that Burns leaving has created this new Karl. I wondered if his leaving would help Karl or Vlasic and the results have been way above my low expectation. If only Vlasic could become a point a game player now also.

PLEASE NHL teams. Draw lines from net to faceoff spots to form a triangle. Whatever you do, MAKE SURE, opponent teams' players don't get free shots from that area. Otherwise it's nonsense to call out goaltender. If the shooter knows what he's doing it's really hard for goaltender make that save. It's insane how many free shots offensive players get these days from the premium goalscoring spots.
KAAPO KAHKONEN played badly but the sharks team defense was even worse if that is any better. I think Remier would have saved at least 1 goal he gave up and done better in the shootout.
I do not know about NHL rules or roster spots but the Sharks should have another goalie on the active roster also. The odds are either Kahkonen or Remier will not be on the team next year anyway so why not give some starts to someone else. It at least give the Sharks a chance that the #3 goalie can outplay the other 2 or be added trade bait.
