I so hope we don't make any dumb trades for a 2C and wait for the trade deadline if we are in a good position to make moves.

Miller wasn’t impressive when he was here last time not sure why people want him back. Malkin is old and the rangers have a tendency of signing guys past their prime for headline purposes. We need to stay committed to our young 3rd line and make a move to get the kid from CBJ. Also, strome has to go. He’s doo doo

Chytil led NYR in the playoffs in CF%, FF%, xGF%, SF%. Hes our 2C. Maybe a 1 year bridge deal for a center to add depth but Chytil breakout incoming. Not to mention Laf and Kakko rounded out the top 3 in all of those advanced stat categories. Stop sleeping on the kids.

Don't get any of them. Wait until the trade deadline. Don't mess up the future for old, rentals and over paid players. Laf and Miller need contracts next year.

I agree with the comments about the young guys but give Chytil a chance on a short leash because last years playoffs may be a short term fluke. He hasn't shown this for 3 years but for 20 games
I made this comment on another hockey site THG: The NYR won't get any farther than they did this year if they don't get better defensive structure & give up less SOG & too many high % scoring chances. You can't make Shesty have to bail them out too much no matter how great he is becoming. That is the no. 1 problem on this team not the 2 C position.

I believe he not under any illusion on what a dream ride we were on last year If Igor let’s in 30 more goals and Krides scores 30 less goals we don’t even make the playoffs based on analytics
