Dans la conférence d’aujourd’hui des Oilers d’Edmonton sur Dolynny TV, j’ai décomposé deux histoires commerciales simples pour les Oilers. Alors que les Maple Leafs de Toronto ont besoin d’un gardien de but et que les Blue Jackets de Columbus ont besoin de défenseurs vétérans, les Oilers ont à la fois Jack Campbell et Ryan Murray sur les retraits.

Holloway gave the puck away by weak pass to drai and get scored on, and puck got stolen from Connor and get scored on, drai always soft in offensive zone and Campbell can’t stop shots from blue line. It wasn’t just Campbell fault it was the team last night.
What would we get back from TO?
The TEAM plays the game. Yes, Campbell didn't play well but it's ONE GAME and THE TEAM didn't score more goals and THE TEAM didn't block shots or block or take away shot lanes.

Would a Murray for Holl trade work?
Toronto fans are laughing at us with the Oilers signing Cambell. It's very unlikely the Maple Leafs are interested with the contract and I'm not interested in Justin Holl coming to Edmonton. I'd give Murray to Columbus for free. It's not like he's worth anything now.
I didn't want him to begin with. The reason Toronto didn't offer him a big deal was because he is not worth 5 million. He moves at the speed of a sloth and once he is down with pads out he just lays there and hopes the puck doesn't go 8" up off the ice. He is pathetic and he is gonna cost the Oilers this season. I hope that McDavid and Draisaitl Don't try and pretend he is trying his best. They need to tell management to quit wasting their time and get a real goalie and a top D-Man and get the cup soon or they will want to go to a team that has a real shot. Same with Nurse and that horrible contract. Ship him and Barrie out of town and get a couple of shut down D-Men. This team is god damn frustrating to watch!
The Leafs didn’t have a problem with Campbells price tag this season , it’s his long term contract the Leafs can’t fit. They have Murray coming back real soon anyhow.
The Blue Jackets already got rid of their Murray problem because he kept getting injured….so to have him be a replacement for a D man who got injured is like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in the bottom 😂

1) what do we get back and how do the leafs afford the $5million (LTIR I know but they’d have to move people to bring that LTIR back onto the ice)

What a dumb take. Our third goalie Kallgren is better than Campbell and not a chance we are taking on Campbell's contract especially since we already turned it down last summer.

trade rumors don't materialize unless as you say D, there has to be a reciprocal piece. i don't see the oilers trading Campbell; he has been the cause of a few goals, but our defencemen and team d has been pathetic, to use a Campbellism. The Oil may want to do something tho as remember last year the team was in a downward spiral when they fired Tip and got Woodcroft, but wait for it, and KANE. I am afraid that without Kane we are going back to that sad state of affairs and so some trades are most likely percolating w the Oiler brass as I type this. I sure hope so, or we are swirling down down down …
So the oilers will miss the playoffs cause skinner is not a starter
I'm speaking with a bit of ignorance here, but is it not time to look at our goalie coach? I don't know much about the guy. However, I've seen so many goalies underperform, or be unable to find consistency. Maybe it's just soup, maybe it's just koski, smitty, talbot, ect ect.
dubas offered campbell 2.8 when he was playin ok with us, why wld he want him back at double the cost while hes playing bad
So let me get this straight……Leaf fan's are saying "I told you so" to Oiler fan's about Soupy, Oiler fan's are saying I told you so to Ottawa fan's about Talbot, and Ottawa fan's are saying "I told you so to Toronto about Matt Murray?????"……And we are not even half way through November, in the first year of a 5 year deal???……But he's getting traded back to…..?????….TORONTO????……..This is making my brain hurt.
