Great game, but the refs should be fired for that officiating. What a joke, man. We were low key robbed of an equal opportunity. Devils are absolutely insane this season tho. We were the clear underdog and some of our guys looked like they were intimidated. I also wish we would have played UPL instead of Andy. The guy was hot, but still, good performance from us. Our kids just lack experience. This core will be a real contender in another season or two. Can we talk about Mittsy tho? That guy is a turnover machine currently. I hope he can figure this out, cause that is costing us points and games.
It always stings to get beat by a team coached by Mr. Ruff, but our boys looked like they were playing what is one of the top teams in the League now, if we score our average the game is in the bag.
HC Granato is an excellent coach for our young corps, defensively NJ is playing insane, the Devils are one of two teams with a 30 or more goals differential, and both are tied with the lowest goals against with 47
Mr. Anderson played well enough for us to win, coach is correct in his analysis and perspective overall about NJ and our performance, imho.
The last of the three-game homestand concludes Monday night versus Tampa Bay.
