What? Markstrom was terrible in first & overall 2nd best goalie playing. That "only" sounds like 90% of the Flames games this year. Play Vladar & call Wolf up next year, can't be worse then worst starting goalie in league…& $5M cap hit less.

Slaf gave Monahan a breakaway than Markstrom had two option: go out and stop Monahan, risk empty net or stay and risk either a 1:1 with him or a pass to the right where another MTL player was already there to score. So this was actually a good pass from Slaf, which endet as a goal for him, but could easily be an asist. Goalie is not realy to blame.
