Les Kings de Los Angeles échouent à leur test à Toronto contre l’un des meilleurs de la LNH

Les Kings de Los Angeles ont connu des moments difficiles à Toronto et n’ont pas pu calmer une équipe des Maple Leafs brûlante. 1. Well, there were those fans who kept complaining about how boring the Kings were with their strong defense and their weak offense. Now, the roles are reversed. And it was Jonathon Quick who always thanked his defense back in their championship runs, and shared the glory with them when he was an iron wall in goal. So we have the same guy-a bit older-but definitely wiser and getting bombed against most really good teams, including the Toronto Maple Leafs. So the bottom line is that their defense just isn't up to par in dealing with terrific teams-or even lower teams working on adrenaline! As I'd thought (disappointingly), the Kings are nothing more than an average team. It is no more my right than any other Kings' fans' right to judge but for the fact that another Kings' administration has had its chance to select/raise up/and develop a young replacement team with an opportunity to begin again and maybe get us back to the Stanley Cup finals. Obviously I could bring up the thing that I ahte most about the NHL-the perception that they cheat in handing out the #1 pick each year to teams the NHL seemingly is pulling for to quickly rebuild. Just to remind everyone, the only guy we ever drafted as the #1 pick died this past year-that's how long ago it was (1967). The odds say someone is screwing us over again and again and again. In fact, only the Rangers were seemingly given a worse beat-down until they got Alexis Lafreniere previously. In any case, there are so many things to bring up/feel regret over, and, in the end, I'm left asking are all these brainless twits just greedy little morons who come to LA to make their fortunes, wait to get traded and then disappear in to the dust in their wake as they leave town? For the record (for all those who jumped the wagon when LA was finally winning), the only player I have ever heard actually desiring to be drafted by the Kings was Drew Doughty. And for that, I will always hold him in high esteem-with or without his arrogant rants, esp. during his personal negotiations to break $10 million dollars a year. So now, the only question is what comes next? The owners have been as honorable and good natured as anyone ever was. Isn't it time someone brings home some wins for the Anshutz family? Note: I've been here since the beginning, and honestly, that sense of frustration is returning…please make it go away! I will say I am thrilled we've got another "Trevor" back on the team (esp. being as he's from Thousand Oaks) and his linemates and the first line have been quite responsible/productive. But we need 4 lines and a solid "D" to actually win games…

  2. Here is the problem nobody articulates without Maatta LA lacks another LHD who can play twenty or more a night and PK. Durzi is averaging 20 minutes while Edler or Moverare or Toby are 15 or less. Thus Yes trading for Chyrkryn would solve the blueline issues to some degree. I'd rather move on from Mediocre Mikey who can't play PP is liability on PK and general. If had Kimmo Timonen or Suter then could maybe get away with keeping one of them on ice or Drew Doughty to cover for players. Walker is career -40 undersized undrafted with 1 career PPG not really used on PK. He is most logical to go as Toby Byng is career -20 but least is LHS while Jacob is vast upgrade. Again Kings still need LHD that can play least 20 to 25 not 10 to 15ish. While I might believe Jacob Moverare can do that others think Toby can it don't seem organization does.

Blake Lizotte contract was a mistake as guy is getting paid more than double Vilardi at around same age. Maatta cost 2.25 for Detroit 1 year compared to his 1.675M for 2 years. Heleneius is a better 4th line option at Center or Wing. Byfield is a better option many believe there too. Madden is even an upgrade given the lack or size or perhaps Tynen if were putting him up on 3rd line. Lizzy is not a good PK unlike Moore who led team with 5 SHGs. Ward is a better option than Lizzy, Kupari, Ward, Thomas, Turcotte. Signing Bjugstad for 900K like Coyotes who has scored over 20 goals is RW/Center 6'6 RHS could even slot on top line if needed. Guy can use on PK or PP would have been a better value idea for a contract then him. Point is could have replaced his 10 goals in 70 games unlike Maatta a LHS LD able to play 20 minutes already with more points than had last year. Guy was about a Plus Twenty compared to a Career Minus Forty Walker. Size for them at 6'2 is better than most as Toby is barely 6 with Mikey maybe 5'9.

What really gets me is when I see Roy along with Durzi on the Pk having two RHS D? I don't want to resign Roy making over 3M for a 7th round pick that is soft player lacks upside. Really any return for him is worth freeing the salary when have Clarke, Grans, Durzi. Walker at 2.65M is like an expensive Wagner so any return for guy signed as free agent is fine. On Left D I only believe in Jacob Moverare as their best prospect there I don't think will sign. Toby Byng is soft under sized slow unskilled guy with like career -20 only having 1 goal in over 100 NHL games. I can't even say if he would be upgrade over Mediocre Mikey another guy who needs to go. So like most I realize team needs least 2 new LHD even if Jacob Moverare is fine as 3rd or 2nd pairing. Its probably best to project him as 3rd pair with two players able to contribute on PP more than him even PK perhaps. Muzzin along with Martinez as I could see Jacob as Willie Mitchell. Carson Soucy would be my ideal for least one of those spots. Pickering would have been who I drafted if had pick that Penguins took probably.
