top to bottom the lightning are still the best team in the league. only thing that stops them from making it three in a row is a major injury to hedman or vasy. or the fact that half the damn team will be playing in the Olympics.

In 2015, the New York Rangers won the Presidents Cup. Tampa finish second in the Atlantic, Chicago finished third in the Central. Anyone remember the Stanley Cup Final from that year? Chicago beat Tampa in six. A lot of current Bolts were on that team. I think they remember.
This take is going to bite Adam. Tampa does just enough to get into the playoffs then turns it on in the playoffs.

They lost their unreal depth scoring, and stamkos is always a question mark because of injuries. Don’t get me wrong, definitely a playoff team and will go far, but I think this will be significantly tougher for them without those guys

As a Lightning fan I actually agree that will finish second or third. They know they don’t have to win the division, and the Panther are a very good team. It’s all about getting hot at the right time.
