    I have to agree, top 6 will do the job. I feel goaltending will be very good. We need to shore up defense. BUT not liking the contract of Darnell Nurse. Way to much money for a person that might have too block shots or get involved in corners. Chances are injuries which he already has and could re-injure. I feel another defenseman with attitude would be an asset. It's looking like a great year for the Oilers.

    Totally agree. JP and Yam to be traded, Holloway playing third line, sign McCleod, sign Russell. Holland has surprisingly done a great job in the off season thus far,

    I like the forward core, give Jesse and Foegele one more chance, get enough cap for Yamo and McLeod by trading Barrie for a 3rd pairing shutdown d man to play w broberg, Mayfield or Hakaanpa are some I’d be happy with. Hakaanpa makes the most sense as Dallas maybe looking for a puck moving d man after losing Klingberg.

    Oilers need to grab a Perry, Or Kessel, Spezza type.that cost about 1 million and can play powerplay or 2nd unit powerplay. And 3rd or 4th line to contribute

    Yamo is becoming part of the core. He's a battery. No way we'd get rid of him and JP. We got rid of Eberle and spent the next 3-4 seasons needing a RW like eberle. Yamo is small but ferocious and EDM needs his o-zone board play. We don't have anybody else doing that. JP protects the puck but it always seems to fumble off his stick before he can finish a play. JP's potential is hard to gauge but we already know what Yamo brings.
