First comment! Jack had a overall pretty good game. A .906 save percentage is not the best but Jack shouldn't try to be the best, he should try to be a solid and reliable goaltender to go along with Skinner.
I am wondering if the Predators will ever beat the Oilers again as they are 1-9-1 against the Oilers since the 2018-19 season.
Shores best game by far. Carried the puck effectively all night. Quietly I noticed Bouchard back off and take a defensive gap rather than gamble a pinch more than once.
Jack Campbell .906. He looks small in there compared to Skinner.
Nurse looks like a guy that can’t handle the pressures of his contract and expectations that come along with it. He is in regression and most shifts infuriating to watch.
Halloway looked like he didn’t belong there tonight.
A privilege to watch 29, 97 & 18, and good to see JC have a solid game. But Nashville was missing 3 regular defensemen & traded chances with the Oilers – which the Wild did not. … One of Nashville’s goals was a 4 on 2. There are still major defensive play issues.
Campbell was ok. Defense was ok. Agree Jesse looked ok and was definitely being showcased . Liked his physical play. Zebras watching a different game than I did . Fortunately the penalty kill was pretty good. Keep the vids rolling
1) Malone was in over Hamblin. Hamblin to my eye looked better from every angle than Malone, but I wonder if this was more a tactical decision because Hamblin is smaller and Malone much bigger against a large and heavy club.
2) Holly played great and still couldn't buy himself 10min of ice time.
3) PJ did well. He was clearly aware of the 'special fan' watching tonight's game and the opportunity presented if they choose to persue him. Good for you buddy.
I wonder if Holland could pry Shattenkirk from Anaheim (3,900,000 cap hit). I hope Holland goes after Shattenkirk and not Klingberg. Klingberg (7,000,000 cap hit) would just be another disaster on defence, he was again a -4 tonight. Shattenkirk would be a good solid shut down veteran defender that Edmonton needs.
The first line was busy tonight which was great..gotta say all the lines were great..they gotta let Campbell start the next game to bring up his confidence…the defence still needs more work… Other than that great two points can't wait for the next game.
I sent Patrick and Tyson 3 emails about this game that included statistics, anatomy, chemistry, mechanics, colourful use of language. For all of you this was a good game. Leon 5 out of 6 goals involved him. That's DOMINANT. Take care all.
Oilers 100% on the PP (2 goals) and PK (5 kills). Oilers actually had more shots on net than Nashville. I mean how often does that happen?
As an aside if we traded JP and Barrie to Anaheim for Klingberg the money works (in our favour by 1/2 a mil) though you know some picks would be required but it would be a good deal.

Good game tonight. Nashville is a team that would be a good fit for pulijarvi
