    Oilers lose because of Darnel Nurse and his lack of positional awareness, undisciplined penalties, repetitive gaffes he’s playing with a longer stick this season because he’s plays poorly with other lengths, his tendency to play goalie and drop to the ice is embarrassing .. Darnel rarely steps up to use his size physically.. he’s a 3rd pairing defenceman.. Oiler Organization covets this underperforming overpaid player because he intimidates them when in the weight room..

    The plan? How about planning how n the heck they're going to get out of this Darnell Nurse situation. Clearly there's absolutely no way he is a #1 defenseman, let alone lead the d on a Stanley Cup winning team. And with the 9.25 there's no chance you could even GIVE him away. This is a disaster situation for Ken Holland and the team.

    Let’s remember how Petry and Schultz continued to play as very serviceable-to-great dmen in the league and try not to run another good one out of town just because he got paid.

    I've watched this team n cheered for them since the wha days …plus I played this game 1 small step from this level for many years …you have a quick second to make a decision on the ice or you potentially screw up ..Darnell needs to be more aware n take a quick look beforehand and learn from these screw-ups….n also gave a backup plan ..when in doubt ..off the boards hard and clear the puck …never mind trying to be Michael Jordan…I hope he finally learns…

    Maybe it's just me but it seems like Woodcroft making cracks about and laughing about the reporters being "represtatives of the fanbase" is a real indicator of how the opinion of the fanbase is received by the people within the inner workings. It feels like a slap in the face to the very people that make the franchise what it is. How can they praise the fanbase passion, knowledge of the game, say we're the best fans in the NHL while simultaneously giving seemingly no respect to the fan's concerns?

    Please keep Nurse off rhe power play. Why is he on penalty kill when we suck at it and hes not that quick? Hes too stale on the penalty kill

    Reporters need to get a bit smarter & come more prepared. As fans we are not unhappy if the coach decides it is best to have Bouchard sit on the bench at times to think about what he is doing/ stop daydreaming. Coach did a very good job of being patient w reporters – just ask what Nurse can do to be smarter in game situations?
