That toe drag was more like "toe drag" from Raymond rather than anything what Dowd did. Holy F how sloppy, soft and lazy is Red Wing's defence. Feel so bad for Husso. Caps are even worse if they lose this.
Debatable that the initial drive by Larkin shouldve been a trip. 1st off, contact was not made with the puck and stick was between the legs. If theres a penalty call both goals wouldnt have happened

what was 82 doing, he couldve ran over nic dowd, or even knocked the puck away, but he just watched him come him and score
i watched the game. our commentators assumed it was goalie interference, but husso was actually saying that he thought the puck went out of play into the safety netting on the dump-in before the goal. he may or may not have been right, but they ran out of time to look at it before challenging, so good goal.
Anybody notice the Wings defenseman get absolutely obliterated on the first goal by the jumping guy?
