I’d rather Matthew Knies come over in the spring and give that a go. Not convinced JVR in 2023 can play with the Leafs pace. Similar vibes to the Jumbo experiment – if you can’t keep up with the teams pace you’re useless 80% of the time

JVR skates like he's in quicksand. He has no defensive skills and would just add to Marners 2-way responsibility. Domi is another undersized forward that isn't what the small leafs need.
