The Oilers Fanatic lance une nouvelle série intitulée By Request. #LetsGoOilers

Thanks man appreciate it!
Can you do a video that is “If We Traded McDavid”. I know we’d never do this , but it would be cool to see what you think we would get for him.
3peat cups there.
Good video
What is the list of requested videos your gonna do also love the vids
I will flip if Pulj is gone. I wish we could keep both him and Yamo.
By request idea!!! How about 5 players you would love the oilers to acquire during this season. It doesn't have to be completely reasonable.
Some alternatives to consider: Instead of Brock McGinn put in Tyler Benson. We have him for cheap (this year) and should be able to get him for relatively cheap for a year or two after this. He has elite passing skill and while not as physical (and the whole skating needs work) he has potential. If he makes the lineup this year and does well with advancement in areas he's currently lacking he would be an economical choice.
Another alternative to think about is putting Bouchard on the top line with Nurse. Reason, we have Barrie for a more limited number of years and it makes sense to see if Bouch and Doc can play well. Moving Barrie down a line to play with Keith, while not defensively optimal, honestly there are limited choices UNLESS Samarukov takes Keiths spot and Keith rotates to the 7th D man position.
We have a number of up and comers. You're either blocking them or using and training them. Keith's experience would still be there. He'd be able to swap in if needed. This just lets us rotate in another economical up and comer to give them exposure (and anytime I say that I worry an Apple device is looking for kiddie pictures).
A concern for me is also line chemistry. The DYN line had great chemistry but it fell off for a bit in the shortened season last year with very limited use. If they try it this year and it works I believe Tipp would be hard pressed to not keep them together.
This limits Foegele unless you move Foegele to the top line (putting either him or Hyman on the left whoever is more comfortable there and having the other on the right). Doing this you could then not rush the youngin' Holloway and have him for one more year on the fourth line or possibly the third line in place of Benson with him taking the 4LW or 3LW spot. Positions are earned but he's still rather young and as of right now has zero AHL experience if memory serves (College yes, AHL no). If he gets most if not all of one year at the AHL level and then earns a promotion to start third or fourth line we're phasing him in without having unrealistic expectations and not force feeding him stress.
Another option to consider is what if Yamo just doesn't work out well. Putting JP in that 2RW (or 3RW) spot gives you a guy with some experience and ability (and size and speed) that may be a better choice for the team down the road. JP as also shown that he can "work" with Connor. Something we've had a lot of trouble finding (other than with Leon). If someone is injured he could float up to the top line and not be disruptive.
Great vid as always. Sorry for being so wordy but it's like I literally see the possibilities (for me in the form of math) and even there I've wrangled them down to the most likely alternatives (probabilities where there is sufficient data to form a correlation).
Everybody seems to think they will split up McDavid and Draisatl because that's the common wisdom. However, the Oilers have been ignoring the common wisdom since about the Nail Yakopov pick.
Looks good except for losing Puljujarvi. I honestly don't feel like we are going to need to trade him (and don't want that either). He's gonna get a healthy raise, but in this scenario Koskinen's 4.5 mill will be gone, and Konovalov/Skinner will be backup on an ELC. You'll also have Broberg on ELC. That money from Koski and Russel being gone, and cheap guys replacing them, should cover Jesse and then some.
There's also the possibility of other cheap guys like Benson or Lavoie "making it" and then you can move Kassian, and save even more money
I like your idea of lines especially the defence and goal.
By request…how about an Oilers jersey debate? Which jersey is the one they should wear? Which jersey is the one they should scrap?
I’d like to see them wear the orange shoulder/ blue traditional jersey, or the new dark blue. Lose the orange jersey.
Well. You're working hard. I appreciate that.
Subbed. 👍
Shud be fun season
Boooooo, i like kassian and puljujarvi
I hope Bouchard, Broberg, and Holloway take off quickly, if they do we can be a cup contender
Could you do a roster ranking of all nhl teams?
Mike smith as the started another year your gonna break this guys back! No benson I’m guessing hes moved on in this situation and won’t ever have a shot in a oilers jersey. Also who drops the mitts given this roster?
Only thing I’d do is keep Kassian for the possible electric bounce back and locker room and give marody a shot on a nhl line
I think trading Jesse is bull shit Let's try keeping our own people for a change
Puljijarvi has more value than Yamamotto, if being small and skilled is our vision, we'll never beat teams like winnipeg Vegas or Colorado
If Puljujarvi is gone it will be tragic! He is virtually the most popular guy on the team and will be a powerhouse in the coming years!
Love the video man! You bring me so much joy!! I wanna see you hit 1 million!
We must protect Pool Party at all costs. 😃
I think next yrs goaltending will depend on what kinda yr Smith has, still a firm believer Holland will be looking to sign or acquire a proven goaltender to man the crease in the remaining yrs of McDavids contract then relying on youth and Smith won’t be the starter next yr. It seems the Oilers want to develop Holloway as a centre so not sure we will see him on McDavids wing, also if there’s a cap crunch next summer I see Yamamoto as the guy being moved out he doesn’t have the upside that JP has, JP size is more effectively in the lineup then Yamamoto’s small stature, if Holland can find a way to unload Kassian’s salary maybe there’s enough cap to keep them both.
By request idea! Go thru the entire roster and project the point totals. Aswell as the goaltenders.
I think that these lines are unrealistic. Hollaway will start in the Bake and probably be there all season, with the possibility of a cup of coffee thrown in. There's no chance that Tippett would play him on the first line coming right out of the NCAA. Similar logic for Broberg. Seeing him in a couple of exhibition games does not make him a lock on replacing a solid vet like Russell. He'll also spend most of the season in the Bake getting accustomed to the smaller ice and better competition.
Also, predicting several trades is like throwing darts, you'll be lucky to hit one bullseye. There's no chance you'll be right on both. If Puljujarvi has a so-so season, he'll still be worth Carolina's 1st rounder, because they're a good team, and pick late. If he has another good season, the Oilers would be dumb to trade him away. 6'4" 200+lb skilled wingers that can skate well don't grow on trees!
By request idea you decide what all the pending UFAs and RFA salary’s and contract length keep
Next year on the Oilers keep up the good work
Wait a moment… 2022-23? MY COMMENTS BELOW ARE FOR 2021-22.
We haven't even started 2021-22 yet! Who knows what's going to happen at the trade deadline or the 2022 draft? You might as well predict that the NDP will the election, they kill off the oil industry in 2022, a million people emigrate out, and the team moves to Houston and changes its name to the Houston Oil Barons.
Definitely not optimistic about klefbom returning either hey?
I appreciate your initiative, but this video just upset me. PJ can't go anywhere. And in one calendar year, so many things can happen. Players will fall out of favour in other markets, serious injuries occur, the trade deadline changes team outlooks, and there's just no way of knowing how all that goes. This season hasn't even started, so I think we are grasping at straws. McGinn is the one new thing? Pass.
Please revisit this when the roster is announced to start the season
