That game should not have come down to the wire like that but still a good win for the lightning. Stamkos with a rocket for 499, Kucherov continues to rack up points, but maybe the biggest highlight was the last save by Vasi. Basically a 2 on 0 with 1 second left. Make it 9 straight for the lightning in Tampa, now 17-4-1 overall there. Long road trip coming up, let’s go bolts!

The fact they didn't call Sergachev's punch at the end was a joke. Canucks should've had a 6-on-3 for 40 seconds. People have been suspended for less and the refs didn't even call 2 minutes?

Lightning have struggled with discipline. I feel this game, even as a win, shows it. Yes, everyone wants to see Stamkos reach 500 goals. But for god sakes, don’t let that cockiness in having a 3 goal lead and wanting to just feed him the puck and expect him to reach that milestone take away from the end goal….winning. Tampa, you are a winning organization, with the skill and experience to bury a lot of teams. Just don’t take that for granted against every opponent. Thank you vasy for that final save, and great game Vancouver
