Trade Greenway, Hartman, and Steel to free up an additional $5M. Duhaime replaces Greenway, Walker replaces Hartman, and they'll find someone to replace Steel whether it's Rossi or someone else. They can pretty much put anyone between Zucc and Kaprizov and expect them to do well as we've seen with Hartman and Steel. See what the market is like for Gustavsson. If they can get a top 6 forward for him, I'd say to pull the trigger on that deal.
Greenway has to be a frustration for Guerin. He has played with Foligno, Ek and you would think their play would rub off more as that line when all 3 are playing well is crazy tough. It just isn’t materializing for some reason. I do also feel Guerin isn’t high on rentals, so sign a Horvat, free up the money and bring up walker on a entry level contract. By benching greenway against St. Louis it definitely sends a message it’s looking more and more like 18 is gone. Fun stuff to see what we do 😎
Glad they got boldy done . Well deserved think this looks like a steal in a year or 2 . Need to get him a teammate he can thrive with like he did with fiala as a playmaker
