I wonder if Elmer Soderblom could become Detroit's future 2nd line Center. I know he plays mostly left wing, but he's played Center previously. I could see Detroit's future line-up look like this several years down road:

I want to see him out there with Sundqvist. The two of them can make life VERY difficult!
Yea, he's a giant that can deke and skate, but on smaller ice surfaces with faster competition, he could use a year in GR to make his mind and hands quicker. Hockey sense is knowing where the high percentage play is going to be based on the flow of your teammates and, knowing a pass moves faster than you can skate, you don't have to bull your way through 4-5 defenders. Would rather see him pick up 30 garbage goals on rebounds/deflections than 15 end to end rushes.
