  1. Actually published in the NHL's letters that the Toronto maple leafs had the worst schedule of this year. And last. Arizona was second. Also you sound like cgp grey

  2. The NHL doesn't make the schedule. The teams organize them and submit them to the league for approval.

  3. That or the relocation rumors are true. No one will go to their games if they are losing.

  4. just move them to Quebec City where they'll actually make money and be done with it. time for the NHL to admit defeat

  5. Look at teams who travel most, not sure but i think the jets do now wheb the wings used to which is why they moved conference.

  6. However the have to compete for local attention from the Suns who are the oldest Arizona based pro sports team

  7. Their worst attendances have usually been october and november, so it's no secret why they're trying to play less home games prior to xmas. It was actually brought up by the Coyotes fans to then owner Anthony Leblanc to play more home games later in the season. The NHL is doing their hardest to save this franchise. Despite all the efforts, Coyotes still have very weak attendances, weak tv ratings, and weak revenues. No wonder why their futur in AZ will always be questioned.

  8. I actually kind of want the Coyotes to stay in Arizona because I live in in New Mexico and it looks they are a great way for me to go to NHL games since I moved to New Mexico last year (just have to take a few hours drive from Albuquerque to Phoenix!), And the tickets to their games are so much cheaper!

It seems like most of the Fellow Hockey Fans I’ve met in here in the Desert Southwest are people who used to live up north where hockey is popular. (I used to live by Chicago and I became a Blackhawks fan (and way back when they weren’t that great and popular in the mid-2000s)
