As a caps fan, I really miss this dude. His speed and his hustle was always fun to watch. Glad he’s doing well in Seattle though, he deserves a team that might make it to round 2 in the playoffs.

This is by far my favorite play in hockey, out of the box, get in the play, score.

    Beautiful.

Reminds me of releasing a bull rider at a rodeo

Why was he in such an awkward spot? Seems like it would have been easier to get out if he was further to his right, or am I missing something?

I love that he was on the wrong side of the door lmao.

    Awesome, love those plays.

Random thought, Shouldn’t it be “goal” and not “score”?

Is it only me that finds it odd when score is not used as plural or when it’s used instead of “goal”?

    Maybe I’m weird.

Why doesnt he start on the other side of the guy opening the door? Or is there a rule against that?

Reminds me of what zebenajade (I did not spell that right lol) did in the playoffs last season. Got out, grabbed the puck, and scored

  9. Why did the Caps get rid of him again?

Pet peeve: it’s a goal, not a « score ». Score is a verb in this context. You score a goal, you don’t score a score.

Score is only a noun in the context of what the score is – I.e., 3 to 2. Even there, the score is 3 goals to 2 goals – not 3 scores to 2.
