    The worse part about allowing the shorthanded goals, is the fact that Ottawa been allowing them when they're still in the game. Yesterday, the 1st goal was shorthanded. It's hard to get momentum when u allow your 1st goal against to be shorthanded.

    I just hope they don't let in another short handed goal.. those have been killing them.. can we just tell the ref "no thanks " next time they try to give us a powerplay?

    Lots of chatter within the local sports media community about DJ Smith, today.
    Did someone say "fundamentals"? It's like modern baseball players not knowing how to bunt, or slide properly into a bag. Head scratchah, BUTT SCRATCHAH!!!

    I've never been a fan of the current 2nd line. The main problem to me is the lack of an experienced goalie in nets. I love the 2 boys but this is not ideal whatsoever. I actually thought that PD would have grabbed a goalie at the deadline.

    The way they set up the powerplay with one D with passing options on the half boards. The opposition pressures that lone D and if they block the pass or shot they are away on a 2 on 1.

    my friend just got us tix to the Sens/Pens game here in Pitt next monday and I can't even bring myself to feel excited for it. Im actually kinda dreading it.

    The Sens' PP is a mess, and that may be putting it lightly. Sure this team has potential to perhaps as early as next season finish in a playoff spot although this season it may be too late to turn things around.

    I’ve seen enough. Time for G on PP1. Tough weekend. Playoffs are an extra long shot now, but will be interesting to see how the boys respond down the final stretch.
