A goal a game average is not out of McDavid’s talent.
Don’t be surprised if he averages a goal a game for a total of 70 for the season.
Only thing I know is it’ll be more than anyone else.

Looking at the opponents, 70 is possible – couple games against SJ, ANA, ARZ each.
Matthews 60 was incredible last season and only 9-time Rocket Trophy winner Ovi has won with more goals at 65 (Stamkos also had 60, and trophy wasn’t awarded before 98-99). So to see anything over 65 let alone 70 would be incredible.
