Casey's been good in 6 of the last 8. That's more than Jarry can say. Something's off with him mentally, and probably physically too. I know who I'd go with with the season on the line.
At this point in the season does it matter who he picks? Neither is consistent, but if both are healthy it has to be Jarry simply because he is generally speaking better than DeSmith.
As far as goalies, Pens ain't got nobody they can depend on.

DK: Tristan Jarry is G1, so he will start. Casey DeSmith is the back-up. The TEAM must play well on defense and offense for either goalie to have a chance vs a younger/faster Devils team. #LetsGoPens!
Yea idk I would let them both go in the offseason. One tries but just isn’t great. The other idk if the effort is even there because I’m not at practice but something is positively wrong with Jarry. I just don’t understand with all the small nagging stuff. It’s crazy to me that your fine with being the backup but not the starter? Like who wants to sit on the bench and watch their team struggle. I don’t think Jarry is motivated. And he hasn’t earned a raise that’s for sure. I’d bring him back for less than what he’s currently making but if they do they need another guy a 1B like Fleury that could still start. Then maybe he’ll be motivated.
