  1. refs evening up calls within a game, yeah I've heard of that. It's not right but it happens. But evening up calls over several games with different refs that a had called the previous games – I've never heard that posited before. maybe I've been under a rock but I'm not aware that's a foregone conclusion that they'll do that. I dunno – could be.

  2. If you think that the refs are thinking to "even it up", you're smoking crack. Every time the Oilers are in California, the calls are one sided, and they never "even it up". What do we tell Corey?

  3. Belle apparently naive. Bouch makes game losing mistakes most games – his whole career. Sure he will have stats & someone will pay for stats but for a guy that just does not have IQ & that causes many losses in a 1 goal league. He is really costly for a team to have a guy that consistently self destructs. Don't fully know why but he does. For him to take 4min penaties in a 60min game is too much handicap to overcome. Same w Kane. Oilers did great except went 5 penalties vs 1 for LA in final 44mins. Playing shorthanded that much is a massive burden. & changes the momentum. As for OT – could be a bit more foregiving.. guy clearly stepped on stick. & refs don't usually make an OT call unless scoring is involved – that said, Deshar put himself in posn to be penalized by not controlling his stick.. so a few guys caused team to self destruct when outplayed LA

  4. This is Betman's NHL. No canadian team has won the cup since he has been commissioner.

  5. Maybe I'm going crazy and seeing things…but wasn't Vinnie tripped by the LA player first??? he fell backwards and the momentum of the fall naturally whipped his stick around where unluckily the guys skates were…weak weak call! Imagine the refs called something like this in playoffs OT 20 years ago? holy fuck!
