Défendre une coupe Stanley est difficile. Faire face aux stipulations du mode Title Defense est encore plus difficile. Le Colorado ne peut pas vraiment être blâmé pour avoir perdu contre le Kraken, mais avec tant de choses contre eux, comment pourraient-ils gagner ? C’était une bataille perdue d’avance, peu importe ce qu’ils essayaient de faire.

Maaaaaan they just came off a cup win, got screwed by injuries all year and STILL won the central. Media hyped us up but Seattle is a 100 point team (probably 1st in the West with better goaltending). The West (ESPECIALLY the Central) was a couple W/L's from having a completely different playoff seeding. Not everyone goes back to back lol. As an Avs fan, thank god the season is over.

This season was a fucking nightmare for Avs fans. I'm honestly a little relieved that it's over. Obviously I would have liked to see them go as far as possible, but with everything hanging over the team, I think they would have been absolutely walked by Dallas. And it wasn't even the most embarrassing game 7 loss of the day!
Now do one for the rangers
First off this team was no where near what they were like and I can’t even begin to say how proud I am To even make it to the dance. We were wrecked due to injury but we are about to come back next year and really defend our title Mark my words

Seattle was just the far superior team is entire series always scoring the first goal of the game. No team can sustain the constant action of playing from behind for an entire series it’ll way the entire team down and that’s precisely what happened. Congrats Seattle on advancing!

He is the closest player we have from Sweden that has some kind a grit and overall play that reminds us of Forsberg.

Nazem Kadri is wasted in Calgary. In spite of the Avs and Bruins misfortune, no hockey club is in worse shape than the Flames. They practically ran Sam Bennett out of town, he was monstrous against the Bruins.

Yeah, most people favoured the Avs beating Seattle, but I can understand why we lost after the year we had. (All of the injuries, missing Landy, the Nichushkin situation, the Eberle/Makar thing) It simply wasn't our year.

As an Avs fan, im happy the season is over and super proud of the boys for what they accomplished against what was stacked against them. This core is still capable of another cup. Going to be a fun off-season re-tooling for another push next season!

Honestly as a Seattle fan I feel the aves had more in them. I thought there were moments they looked like that elite team I have been used to but just couldn’t keep it together. All in all respect to them and I hope landeskog is back soon. He’s a great leader and seeing him down is too bad.
