Bad game for Graves. Maybe Lindy sits him G2 and we see what Luke's got for playoff hockey?
Also, if Timo still can't play G2, then play Lazar instead of Boqvist.
Schmid should still start G2. He played sharp; the 3 GAA in 11 shots is a bogus representation, as literally none of those goals can really be pinned on him, especially 2nd and 3rd goals. The first was a textbook Playoff Garbage goal, where the only goalie stopping it is usually the one who is out of position. That said, pulling him was the right move; and while I'm okay and still confident with going back to Vanecek at any time, I still think we start Schmid.
Their AHL team I watched them in the playoffs, they won the Cup..they have good depth, no matter the injuries
One thing the Canes were doing to restrict the devils rush plays was having 3 players at the red line
