    Please explain to me what Dubas as done to improve the Leafs since he's been GM, in my eyes they are not better and have the exact same weakness as when he came in.

    What’s holding him back is that he gave matthews a 5 yr deal with a ntc on the last year. Maybe Kyle knows that matthews is leaving or won’t resign, and dubas is fearful of his family getting backlash if dubas remains as gm and matthews bolts. You don’t think people will be people and give dubas wife the stink eye or say something how her husband was the reason the most gifted leaf’s player in franchise history is no longer with the leafs.

    Kyle Dubas finally came to the conclusion the team that he put together is not good enough to win a cup ,it was a waste of 6 years man he loves the core 4 so much that he's willing to lose his job ,it had to be Florida a team that finished 18 points behind the leafs,also the team that beat Boston for Dubas to open his eyes , will it be him in charge of the leafs going forward we shall see

    Maybe Dubas is waiting on Matthews to sign for less of the cap percentage. Maybe Dubas doesn’t want to be GM, if the monsters he created still want a giant piece of the pie. He’s learned the team won’t win with greedy superstars.

    Sammy is 100% right. Any big time team is there to produce results. There is NO team from the mecca of their sport with the horrendous record of the Leafs, which is in the mecca of hockey. Not Chelsea..not the Yankees. This loser record and no consequence management is NOT ACCEPTABLE
