La deuxième saison du Seattle Kraken en était une pour les livres. Du tout premier balayage (dans l’histoire de la LNH) d’un voyage sur la route d’au moins sept matchs à une amélioration de 19 victoires et 40 points d’une saison à l’autre, l’équipe a fait preuve d’une poursuite incessante pour améliorer sa campagne inaugurale. Avec des blessures à des joueurs clés tout au long de la saison, la résilience et l’approche désintéressée de l’équipe les ont amenés à terminer la saison régulière avec le plus grand nombre de buteurs de la ligue. Cette approche de notation par comité s’est poursuivie jusqu’aux séries éliminatoires où ils avaient 18 buteurs uniques, les propulsant vers une victoire en série contre le champion en titre de la Coupe Stanley, l’Avalanche du Colorado, et au bord de la finale de la Conférence de l’Ouest.

Amazing season! I’m deployed currently and I work at night so I had the ability to watch every game, I told everyone in December we would hit the playoffs this year, all my hockey buddy’s didn’t believe me. I CANNOT WAIT for next season! Go Kraken!
Naming them the kraken was brilliant. This isn't a team made up of a plurality. This is one unit. Teams now know to fear the deep. I can't wait for next season, let's go kraken 🦑🦑🦑🦑🦑🦑

First, I would like to say this team exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the Kraken players, coaches and front office. There is nothing to hang your heads about. Thank you for not making us wait for these things to happen. A playoff berth, a playoff victory, a home playoff victory, a playoff series victory and a memorable season of how a complete team plays the game. Being able to count on 4 lines is precious. That was fun to watch. Now, next year, let's do it again, get home ice advantage and go all the way.!!!!!! Let's Go Kraken!!!!! Oh hey Mr. Francis, give Daniel Sprong the contract ASAP! He should be a Kraken for a long time.
