Ah. The days of actually hard checks. They're trying to soften the nhl like the nfl has. All be flag sports in 20 years. Yes I realize player safety but you decided to play so take the hits cause its what the fans want which pays the salaries along with tv deals etc…
Kinda missing one… Dominik Hasek. Took matters into his own hands to deny the Wild on a 1-on-0 by coming out of the crease and taking a hit in a way that would've been an offensive foul against Minnesota had it happened in the NBA.

The only hit missing is Maltby riding Kjell Samuelsson into, and breaking the glass during the 97' finals. That hit is burned into my memory because Kjell was nearly twice the size of Maltby. That and the game stoppage to replace the panel.
