I have been a Calvin Austin III fan since day one last year. His personality, positivity, work ethic, energy, humility, love of the game, and talant…are something I would want in my locker room, on the field, and helping to shape my team. Quality character.
Austin obviously has speed. It's up to Canada to use Austin in the proper way whatever that might be.

I'm excited for this player. From all accounts, he has elite speed and he seems very high character. However, I agree with 'Mon…he has to be healthy and available this season.

Matt Canada and Calvin Austin is questionable and look at what Canada did with Pickens.
Those big breakaway plays that Ju Ju had his rookie season, were more because AB was being heavily guarded.
@DK have you assessed Canada by only viewing thru prism of first half vs 2nd half of the season? Going 7-2 down the stretch has to count for something. Couldnt have been just the players and the D….or could it?! 😮

Wow Dk! Calvin Austin and his speed sounds awesome. Blow by speed to me is the next level for sure. Thanks for sharing this great interview. As far as Matt Canada go's I don't know. The question that lingers in my mind is , Who will have made this play or that play possible?
DK, you have spent a whole off-season bashing Canada. The team started two different quarterbacks, 2 new lineman, and a new rookie starting at wide receiver has meant nothing to you. I recall you bashing the 2022 quarterback class. While doing so, you said the Steelers should start Mason Rudolph- ranks the season – and draft qb this year. Are you willing to admit you were wrong? And when the offense with all its improvements to include both Pickett, Pickens, and Austin having a year of experience improves, will you admit you were wrong, again? I don't think so because you've never acknowledged being wrong about passing on Pickett and starting Mason. A definite 3rd string qb nobody wants

I believe this kid will be a serious weapon and your right DK he is one of the fastest players on earth no question. He ran a 4.27 at Memphis a 4.3 at the combine which he said was bad lol and he has 100 meter records so he has long speed also
Who really cares if people like this guy I mean it’s truly ridiculous. The chances of him staying healthy through training camp in Latrobe or slim to none. He’s like the penguins goalie every time the wind blows on him the wrong way he’s hurt he’s too little the NFL is too violent. I have a feeling the next injury is going to be a concussion or a hamstring.
