   I met Mike Vernon at a bar and didn’t know it was him. We sat and talked for about 3 hours, and he gave me his business card. I looked him up the next day. Couldn’t believe it.

   Mike Vernon? Before Rod Brind’amor, Pierre Turgeon, Alex Mogilny or Keith Tkachuk? The hell? I’m not sure he’s even the most deserving Red Wings goalie,* Osgood’s got better career numbers and one more ring.

   ^(*Yes I know Vernon played most of his career with Calgary)

   Kind of agree, weak class. Barrasso having 2 cups, a Calder, and Vezina is enough though. But… CANNOT BELIEVE MOGILNY IS NOT IN YET
