People can be accepting, without having it driven down their throats every time they turn around. Just because there’s a group celebrating themselves, doesn’t mean that everyone else needs to join in on the celebration. People just want to watch sports without the politics being rammed into it. It’s supposed to be an escape from everyday world issues, and not a continuation of them. I’ve never been to a hockey rink and seen folks being bullied over their beliefs. So those players who don’t wish to take part in being celebrity models for every woke topic on record all season long should not be bullied either.
