My hot take:
He wasn’t gonna get the chance in NJ and it clearly didn’t work out in St. Louis but I don’t blame him for trying to see how far he could go as an athlete. Doesn’t do anything to tarnish his legacy for me as a lifelong Devils fan, in fact i respect it.
