    Timmy proved the hockey world wrong, from final 4 while in Vermont to being the consmythe and hoisting the cup!!! the most aggressive tender in the game. Just shows stay at home goalies can put up numbers yet never win the hardware they dont deserve. Play hard and never hold back!! Tim Thomas your the dream every goalie wanted to live.

    My dad was a serious sports fanatic Boston Bruins have been his hockey team all is life he passed away November 26th 2010 I remember watching this game just a few months later the Bruins win the cup I'll always remember this

    There's a dirty joke that Canuck fans were behind the Boston bombing. Of course, that isn't so.

    What is so was how much this Cup would have meant to Vancouver, after all they been through, good and bad. And to lose was such a dramatic devastation, that some fans would have been bitter enough to wish something bad did happen to Boston. That is, until something terrible really did happen to Boston, and no Cup is worth a person's life.

    Btw tim Thomas was the absolute MVP of not only the finals but the entire playoffs .I've only seen one goalie that played that good ever in the playoffs and that was ken Dryden who absolutely stole what should have been the middle cup of a three peat in 70/71 .

    My favorite memories of this game was the live feed to the Vancouver fans outside which became to be known as "Squid Square"!
