Coyotes president & CEO Xavier A. Gutierrez says the Coyotes considered a dozen site options; half a dozen will make it to the next step.
They feel they will be able to announce something after the first of the year.— Craig Morgan (@CraigSMorgan) June 28, 2023

I’m torn on this. I know that zoning laws and things need to be in place and that it doesn’t happen over night.
The first just seems like such a long time away though
I’d rather this take longer up front and all necessary hurdles are cleared versus prematurely announcing it and another option fails.
When he says “announce something” after the new year it makes me nervous and excited.
If it’s “we made progress and will have more for you soon” we might be cooked.
If it’s “the plan is this location on this timeline, construction starts next month” then this is great!
More wait and see….
On 98.7, Gutierrez just said the goal is to still be shovel ready on the same timeline that TED would have been.
