That video made me love Kyle from Chicago even more. I’ve already been pretty happy with how he is handling the dumpster fire he was dealt, especially this offseason so far, and that video was another example of how chill of a person he seems to be.
Although Lucic helped us win a cup in the past I really don’t want him on our team at this point of his career. I want the young guys to come play on our bottom line instead. It’s more beneficial to see who can be that guy instead of the guy we know that’s not really performing at his peak. Lucic is all the way down at the valley.

It's cheap but this is a strong draft year and Pittsburgh needs to draft a goalie. The last 2 notable goalies drafted by Pittsburgh were Jarry and Gustafsson, whom they traded prematurely. They have no prospects for when Jarry retires or leaves.
Smith is 32. The only top 6 forward under 30 is Guentzel who is 28. The Pens are slow and lose games in the third. They should be trying to get younger, not older.
5 mill for a 3rd liner is a lot. Pittsburgh already has Granlund for 5, Rakell for 5, Rust for a little over that (all over 30). If 5m the standard for a 40-50 point scorer now?
