    Hopefully Graves can work as the typical non flashy low event defensemen role, he provides some good size as well…

    #J1Q DK! Love the show man, it’s my morning commute to work listen Mon-Fri and it gets me thinking Penguins for the entire day lol. I know there’s an impossible amount of speculation going around about what the Pens would be giving up for EK65. I saw an article today that had a trade proposal on it that really caught my attention and wanted to hear your opinion.
    Pens recieve EK at 35% retention
    SJ receives Jeff Petry, Casey DeSmith, Sam Poulin, 24’ first rounder and conditional 25’ second rounder.
    Sounds good to me, your thoughts?

    If I have to hear about Jeff Petry’s 1 game in Tampa bay one more time. I remember Martin Sonnenberg once dominated a game against the Canadiens.. end of story

    I really wish I could get as jazzed up about Jeff’ petry game as DK does. That one game in Tampa must have really imprinted on his brain. Sadly, I remember no game where Jeff petry looked like Bobby orr

    Petry isn't bad. But 6mil+ is a lot for what he actually does. I think that's what most people take issue with. The same thing with granlund. He just makes too much for what he actually provides.

    Since it is speculation season, do we agree that if Graves (or someone of that ilk) was out there instead of Dumo, the Pens would have been in the playoffs? I take no joy in ripping #8 because he was good for a long time, but c'mon. The acquisition of Graves and retirement of Dumo is huge IMO.The Pens are a much better team just with that in light of the top line minutes Dumo was getting.
