Let Nylander walk. Offer him 9million in free agency and see where he wants to play. The leafs are always in a cap crunch, which means they have no issues finding players.
As a Leafs fan since 1968 I just want a cup before I go to the upper room! GLG! Great show, keep up the good work!
..Shanihan calls the shots…the cap insrease will go to the core..overpaying underachievers has not worked and the Leafs are commited to the losing..they may struggle to make the post season..
For me ( and maybe I look too deep) lol but Nylander's name was 1st on the list and yes it may seem politically correct to do so, but sometimes when you dig deep the hidden message is revealed. So,…NostraDanny predicts off of the list that Nylander stays this year. GLG
Lol Leafs are perpetually doing nothing to change the identity of the team but will always say "next year."
Dont expect anything until the Tavares contract expires.
Treliving has changed the character of the team in my view. Whether that translates into going deeper in the post season, I simply don't know, but the team has more bite right now than it did a year ago. I'm very curious to see how this all shakes out. I still think Treliving has other moves in mind & this team will look different prior to the post-season. Assuming no significant or lengthy injuries besides Muzzin & Murray, then I believe they will make the playoffs in the toughest division in the NHL. How far they go is directly tied to the level of goaltending they get, coupled with the ability to overcome a hot goalie if they encounter one or more. They figured out Vasilevskiy, but did not apply the same effective tactics against Bobrovsky.
Right place right guy at the right time. I think he will keep the philosophy of 1 and 2 year contracts see how the player fits and sign them if their worth it. He likes size too and will rebuild that blue line sooner rather then later . Go Leafs
Number one thing to do either get. Nylander signed or trade him for a top 4 defenceman and a 1st
Let’s see how the leafs are before trade deadline to see what’s next
Tre is a terrible gm ruined the tkchuck trade than signed matthews a playoff zero with the biggest AAV in the league? This guy was a terrible pick up for the leafs
At first i was worried about losing Dubus but after seeing what hes doing in Pit and how good tree has done for us im REALLY happy hes gone
KC you must be an east coaster …nova scotia ? Newfoundland?
