That is about double what I make now as a teacher, so yes.

  2. GoRangers5

100%, plenty of time to do other stuff on the side.

  3. spartancheerleader10

Yes, you would realistically work a fraction of the year when you think of the times it is repainted. It’s probably like part-time job, like being an usher at a lot of these stadiums. There is only 41 home games a year if you aren’t in the playoffs.

  4. CitizenNaab

That’s what I make right now in my terrible ass job. I’d do that in a heartbeat

  5. DanTreview

    Post-retirement, absolutely I would.

  6. FarSpinach8504

No chance. You think all they do is paint lines or something?

They most likely have a wide range of jobs around the arena, shit that wouldn’t be enjoyable.

  7. NecessaryHope5856

Well not in Montreal but hell yeah I would. I bet the perks with that job are pretty sweet. Pretty sure if that team wins the cup they get a ring.

  8. KeyserSoze_atlarge

    Not in Montreal but yes.

  9. mymar101

Can I get hazard pay if I step on the logo?

  10. OIdChunkOfCoaI

A pay raise to paint some ice sounds good to me

  11. Jeez-essFC

Is that actually what these guys get paid? Or is the 60k figure just a premise for the question?

  12. Sconesmcbones

Im a painter as it is so i would find this highly enjoyable even though id make dramatically less than what i make now. Sign me up

  13. Judge_Rhinohold

    I’d do it for $600,000 a year.

  14. world_citizen7

    Yes…actually No…after I saw the last pic.

  15. Agitated_Shake_5390

Lmao my dad and I did this at our local rink every couple of years just so we could keep a key to the rink

  16. No-Material-23

It would definitely be an interesting job with some nice perks. But I’m in my early 50’s, work for myself, have 5 months off during the winter (I rebuild older Ducati’s in that time), and make 50k after taxes.

  17. acclaimedsimpleton

60k American? Probably. 60k Canadian, lol no

  18. EmerysMemories1106

Hell, if I got free tickets to every home game, I’d do it for free.

  19. Educational_Chef4220

I do the same job but get 70k

  20. Garth_M

I worked for a city an the arena guys were making a little bit more than that for the most part. It sucks to work at night and on the weekends but it’s not too hard

  21. akita_4u

Are those the tears of real canucks fans they paint the rink with?

  22. No-Search-7394

    I couldn’t afford my apartment at $60k a year.

  23. Border_Relevant

That’s 3 times my current income. I absolutely would.

  24. GhostOfLouBrock

    $60 k Canadian is like $18 K USD

  25. trippingtrips13

I already do it for less at a private high school, so, yes.
