So we’re right in the middle at 28. Something
I swear the jackets have had one of the youngest rosters in the league for the last few years and it will stay young with all of the prospects coming up
Surprised by how young the Sabres are. I think they are going to have a really good year.
I guess Detroit doesn’t have a team this year.
It’s not the years, honey. It’s the cups.
are we… getting old? *fuck*
26 teams in NHL ?
Uh, Where are the Red Wings?
NJD being this young and this good already, their core being locked up for a while, promising prospects coming in….This team should be dangerous for a loooong time
Why lists of 13&13? If it was just top 10 for each I’d get it, but if you’re going to 13 just go to 16 so that every team is listed.
Not at all shocked about the Penguins lol goddamn archeological dig going on at PPG Paints!
WOO oldest team to have not won a cup in the last decade!
Glad we downsized to 26 teams, 32 was too many anyways
Damn, I’m older than the average age on all teams except Pittsburgh. And I still consider myself « young ».
Pittsburgh no 1 ☝💪
Why is it in descending order on one half and ascending order on the other?
Canes are a little odd cause our top 6 group is very young (21, 23, 23, 24, 26, 27 iirc) but our bottom 6 is old af
Never thought I’d see the day the Habs was one of the youngest teams. I’m psyched to see what the kids got this year.
Leonardo DiCaprio must really hate Pittsburgh.
I keep getting older, and CBJ stay the same age.
Alright alright alright
Claude Giroux single-handedly bumping the Senators from youngest to out of the top 5 😂
I wish they did these, but only including core players. Like if your veterans are all bottom-six wingers and expendable that should influence the collective age less than say, if some of your top-6ers and top-4 D are into their 30s
> 1. Pittsburgh
> 2. Washington
Feels right that both teams are riding into the sunset together
Why would they post this without including all teams? Kinda odd
The Sharks are in the top 10 in something…
I wonder how the narrative would change if an older team like Pittsburgh would win. would the Convo be about experience overcoming « young energy » or more about stacking superstars works
Columbus being the youngest team thinking “you know what we need?” “Mike Babcock?” “Of course who in the universe is more qualified to coach a young core of players than Mike Babcock?” “There’s literally not another person alive who would be as good as a choice. Even Babcock would say so himself!” Only in Ohio
This is a meaningless stat. Some of these teams are old and have the averages skews by 18-year-olds playing 5-10 minutes a night. Some of these teams are young with veterans getting limited time.
A much more meaningful stat would be age/ minutes-played average. Who has the youngest core eating important minutes?
Damn TBL dropped a LOT just from moving Perry Maroon and Bellemarre lol. Used to be in the top 3 for the last two years iirc
Albeit not quite as young as others, happy to see us not on the oldest list.
Connor Bedard vs Shady Oaks Retirement Home is gonna be a banger opening night
